PROJECTS
The Community Council of Avdimou, in order to make the temporary settlement of the community's refugee inhabitants more comfortable until the day of return to their own houses, has already completed several infrastructure and beautification projects in the village. Among others, these are:

Reconditioning, maintenance, and conversion of the old mansion, which is located at the community's centre, into a multi-purpose centre that has a children's home, a restaurant offering breakfast and lunch to the elderly, a multi-purpose hall for events / exhibitions, new offices of the Community Council, and a library. |

Creation of a communal park with areas of green, benches, lighting, and parking lots right across the multi-purpose centre. |

Replacement of the entire water supply network. |
| • |
Asphalt paving of all the streets in the community. |

Continuing its planning, the Community Council
has already scheduled the following projects:

Modulation of the village's central plaza and its conversion into a modern plaza. |
| • |
Widening of the main street that crosses the community and construction of pavements, as well as the construction of a new bridge. |
| • |
Construction of a new, large church east of the community and in collaboration with the Holy See of Pafos. |
| • |
Creation of 17 new building plots in the east of the community that will be given to young couples.
